The My Last Lecture Award is a revival of the My Last Lecture series held at UCLA in 1995, featuring speeches from the university’s greatest and most inspiring minds, such as Coach John Wooden and Professor of Chemistry Kenneth Trueblood. Previous award winners include Dr. Asim Dasgupta, Department of Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics (2010) and Dr. Richard Hovannisian, Depart of History (2011).
The professor with the most nominations will be awarded the My Last Lecture Award and invited to give a lecture this Spring Quarter. He or she will answer the question posed to the original lecture 50 years ago: What would you tell your audience if you had but one lecture to give - your last lecture on this earth?
